Darla Handler, Founder
Darla Handler is a seasoned healthcare executive and licensed Nursing Home Administrator with a background in nursing, management, and gerontological care. Over her 30+ year career, she’s held progressive leadership roles, culminating in her current position as President of Choice Companies, a multi-division organization serving healthcare systems and municipalities across the U.S. with supply chain, DME, furniture, and IT solutions.
Prior to founding Choice, Darla served as Executive Vice President of a multi-state long-term care company alongside her husband, Aaron. Her hands-on career began as a state-tested nursing assistant and advanced through roles such as Director of Nursing, Regional Administrator, and VP of Operations.
Darla is most proud of building a team of dedicated professionals who understand the needs of the clients they serve. Her leadership is driven by a “do whatever it takes” mindset and a deep belief in empowering her team to grow and deliver exceptional service.
Outside of work, Darla is an avid runner, traveler, and proud mother and grandmother. She’s currently training toward a personal goal: completing the World Marathon Challenge –seven marathons in seven days on seven continents.
Andrew Perkins, Executive Vice President
Andrew Perkins serves as Vice President of Operations at Choice Companies, where he brings a rare blend of regulatory expertise, operational leadership, and forward-thinking technology strategy. A licensed Nursing Home Administrator with a degree in Accounting, Andrew began his career managing some of the most challenging long-term care facilities-earning a reputation as “the fixer” for his ability to restore compliance, financial health, and operational stability.
Before entering the healthcare space, Andrew gained valuable experience in sales and relationship management at Liberty Mutual, sharpening his ability to deliver custom solutions, build lasting partnerships, and exceed client expectations. Today, those skills inform his leadership of Choice Companies, where he oversees strategic initiatives that streamline operations and elevate outcomes for long-term care providers.
Under his direction, Choice IT launched a specialized cybersecurity assessment program to help facilities safeguard sensitive data and ensure regulatory readiness. His work with Choice Supply has led to significant cost savings for clients while maintaining quality and resident care.
A second-generation long-term care professional, Andrew is guided by integrity, resourcefulness, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. He’s proud to be part of a company where authentic empathy and deep industry knowledge create a culture of trust, collaboration, and unwavering client focus.
Kimberley Clark John, Director of Procurement
Kimberley Clark John serves as Director of Procurement at Choice Supply Company, bringing over three decades of experience in long-term care and more than 20 years in medical purchasing. Before joining Choice, Kimberley spent 30 years at Sprenger Healthcare, where she began as an aide in high school and rose through the ranks to become the organization’s first Corporate Medical Purchaser- a role she held for 17 years.
With a deep understanding of both frontline care and backend operations, Kimberley is known for her ability to bridge clinical needs with efficient procurement strategies, including Formulary Management. Since joining Choice, she has played a pivotal role in the rapid growth and success of the Supply division, spearheading impactful initiatives such as the Procurement Specialist Program, Bulk Purchase Projects, and Rental Conversions.
Kimberley’s work is grounded in compassion, integrity, and a strong belief that every decision should ultimately serve the people who matter most: the residents. She is motivated by the teamwork and shared purpose she finds at Choice, where collaboration, humility, and service define the culture.
A proud grandmother of eight, Kimberley cherishes time with her family, loves to travel, and finds joy in music and dancing. Her leadership reflects her values- dependability, authenticity, and a tireless drive to ensure customers are cared for with excellence and empathy.
Armani lindsay, Accounting Officer
Armani Lindsay serves as the Accounting Officer at Choice Companies, where she brings analytical rigor, operational insight, and a deep commitment to delivering high-quality, thoughtful, and reliable service. With a background spanning finance, property management, and project leadership, Armani plays a pivotal role in ensuring the company’s financial integrity and supporting strategic growth across all departments.
Armani brings a well-rounded set of skills to the long-term care and service industries, including financial planning, process improvement, and strategic reporting. Her background equips her to streamline accounting systems while remaining attuned to the needs of both internal teams and the communities that Choice Companies serves.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Kent State University and earned her MBA from Cleveland State University. Her academic foundation is complemented by a sharp business acumen and a strong drive for continuous improvement. She is currently pursuing additional certifications in financial leadership to further expand her impact.
Outside of work, Armani is an avid traveler and amateur vlogger who finds inspiration in new places and perspectives. Most people don’t know that she once considered a career as a Classical Philologist and still enjoys literature about Greek and Roman mythology. Whether leading a project or planning a dinner party, Armani brings the same creativity, focus, and care to everything she does.
Shawn Nadolski, VP Sales & Marketing
Shawn Nadolski serves as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Choice Companies, where he brings a deep foundation in sales operations, call center strategy, and leadership development, expertise that translates seamlessly across the long-term care, IT, and supply sectors.
Before joining Choice, Shawn built a distinguished executive career leading high-performing sales and operations teams at globally recognized brands such as GoDaddy, Innovest Global, and Direct Energy. Shawn excels in driving performance while maintaining a strong focus on people, process, and purpose.
He holds certifications in Predictive Index, The Living Leader, and Course & Project Management, and studied Business Administration at Cleveland State University.
What drives Shawn’s work at Choice Companies is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference, not just in metrics, but in people’s lives. He is passionate about building systems that empower teams, enhance customer outcomes, and foster sustained growth. His leadership philosophy balances strategic innovation with human empathy, always investing in tools that scale while preserving the personal connection that defines true impact.
Outside of work, Shawn is passionate about golf, coaching, and spending time outdoors, but finds his greatest joy in time spent with his wife and daughters, who remain his greatest motivation and reminder of what truly matters.
David Hinners, Chief Information Officer
With over 30 years of experience in the IT field, David Hinners brings a unique blend of technical expertise, entrepreneurial insight, and mission-driven leadership. He has led initiatives ranging from network overhauls and data center design to ERP implementations, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery planning. His career has also included roles in emergency services, high-stakes operations, and team development, adding depth to his approach to business and leadership.
For the past two decades, he has also taught in the high-angle rope rescue industry, working with elite teams from NASA, SWAT, Fire Departments, Wind Energy, and more. This experience shaped his belief in trust, precision, and selflessness-values he carries into every professional endeavor.
In 2014, he brought his expertise into the Long-Term Care space, helping shape the IT practices many facilities still use today. He also built an MSP from the ground up, assembling a skilled, purpose-driven team that continues to serve with excellence.
Raised in a God-loving family, he credits his father, a former Chief of Police, with teaching him that every situation should begin with respect. That principle remains central to his leadership philosophy. At Choice, he fosters a culture where every voice is heard, and no one is expected to work alone.
Outside of work, he is an avid adventurer and skilled marksman who enjoys cave diving, SCUBA, rope rescue, woodworking, and backpacking. Above all, he values time with his daughter and family, and lives with a strong sense of purpose rooted in faith.
